CO-PRESENTED BY MALVERN FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE AND THE SPOT

Returning to the Scarborough-Malvern community for our 2nd year, our program at Neilson Park combines past Dusk Dances favourites, with new works from local youth and emerging artists:

• First Nation’s dancer and choreographer Santee Smith, with Kaha:wi – a piece celebrating the feminine spirit and Iroquoian traditions

Jenn Goodwin with Stink – an exhilarating and acrobatic work featuring dancers suspended from the branches of trees.

• Local dance crew Raw Energy – a group of dedicated and talented young dancers - will premiere a new work showcasing their energetic, urban style.

Tamla Matthews (of Caribbean Dance Theatre) premieres a new work created with youth from the Malvern community.

Hosted by Shannon T. Boodram.

Featuring local band Keith Pascall and musicians.
