Following the success of Incandescent, a community-based dance project first created for Dusk Dances Haliburton in 2012 by dance artists Kate Franklin and Meredith Thompson, and subsequently recreated for Dusk Dances Vancouver (2013), Peterborough (2013), Toronto (2014), and Hamilton (2016) …  Meredith is diving into a new community-based project to be premiered as part of Dusk Dances 25th Anniversary Season in Withrow Park this August!

Imprint (working title)
will be a new dance work involving both professional dance artists and a variety of interested individuals from the community. That’s where you come in!

I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely and thoughtfully with various communities to facilitate a collective artistic experience that is a reflection of the people and the community itself. I am very much interested in continuing this work, and building upon the incredible experience of Incandescent, in hopes of creating a meaningful new work for the Dusk Dances 25th Anniversary Program.” - Meredith Thompson

Interested? This is how it works...
