The Dusk Dances Board of Directors, based in Toronto, is a fiduciary and advisory body. The Board approves developments in the growth of the Dusk Dances concept, as well as provides the checks and balances for the financial operations of the organization. We have made great efforts to diversify our revenue as Dusk Dances continues to grow, and since 2012, the Board has taken a lead role in developing new fundraising strategies.

Currently, the work of the Board is supported by four committees: Board recruitment committee, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion committee, Fundraising committee and Strategic plan committee.

"Before I began my career as a performing arts administrator, I remember attending a Dusk Dances performance one summer's eve. I remember sitting in the grass, chatting with other attendees, and getting swept up in the magic of the artists dancing into the twilight. It gives me such pleasure to return to this organisation to support Sylvie's vision. I believe that the arts hold such a vital place in our communities and love that Dusk Dances is bringing communities together to share high quality contemporary and traditional dance in public parks."
