The Dusk Dances Board of Directors, based in Toronto, is a fiduciary and advisory body. The Board approves developments in the growth of the Dusk Dances concept as well as provides the checks and balances for the financial operations of the organization. We have made great efforts to diversify our revenue as Dusk Dances continues to grow, and since 2012, the Board has taken a lead role in developing new fundraising strategies.

"Before I began my career as a performing arts administrator, I remember attending a Dusk Dances performance one summer's eve. I remember sitting in the grass, chatting with other attendees, and getting swept up in the magic of the artists dancing into the twilight. It gives me such pleasure to return to this organisation to support Sylvie's vision. I believe that the arts hold such a vital place in our communities and love that Dusk Dances is bringing communities together to share high quality contemporary and traditional dance in public parks."

"Through the course of my career as an arts presenter and producer I have gained a great appreciation for art in public space. Something extraordinary happens when art occurs in parks, streets, plazas, waterfronts, hilltops whatever the art form, discipline or practice. Shortly after moving to Toronto in 2012 I discovered Dusk Dances and was immediately enthralled by their work. The transformation of Withrow Park was magical, the engagement with audiences multi-faceted, and the connection to the community palpable. I've been a huge fan of Dusk Dances since that first encounter and thrilled to join the board of directors of this unique organization."
