The Dusk Dances Board of Directors, based in Toronto, is a fiduciary and advisory body. The Board approves developments in the growth of the Dusk Dances concept as well as providing the checks and balances for the financial operations of the organization. We have made great efforts to diversify our revenue as Dusk Dances continues to grow, and since 2012, the Board has taken a lead role in developing new fundraising strategies.

"I love the idea of bringing dance to the public, which Dusk Dances does so beautifully with its magical evenings in the park. It's very rewarding to watch toddlers, grannies and hipsters all enjoying the music and the movement. I live near Withrow Park, the "home park" of Dusk Dances, and, as a board member, am proud to support this friendly and artistic event that draws people from across the city."

"Before I began my career as a performing arts administrator, I remember attending a Dusk Dances performance one summer's eve. I remember sitting in the grass, chatting with other attendees, and getting swept up in the magic of the artists dancing into the twilight. It gives me such pleasure to return to this organisation to support Sylvie's vision. I believe that the arts hold such a vital place in our communities and love that Dusk Dances is bringing communities together to share high quality contemporary and traditional dance in public parks."

"I've been lucky enough to catch Dusk Dances every year since my family moved to the east end 6 years ago. ‎ Their love of the Withrow Park goes hand in hand with the performances they've seen from Dusk Dances. When the opportunity came up to support this local arts organization I literally jumped at the chance to be more than a spectator. The arts are what keep communities vibrant. Dusk Dances is a key component to keeping our community thriving."
